why are non living things (say chappals)are not crushed under atmospheric pressure?​

they doesn't have anything called cells so they don't get crushed

and gravity acts on it

As they dont contain any living mattar that living being contains. As the interior part of cells get affected by atmospheric pressure but non living object don't have cells.

So they are not affected by atmospheric pressure....
