Short note on significance of oceans:

Phytoplankton – is a small plant that lives in side oceans and seas and is responsible for production of more than 50% of oxygen. That means, more than half of the carbon dioxide is consumed by this plant living inside the ocean. Ocean help in regulating the the weather and climatic conditions. The people living in the areas near to the ocean have a good quality of weather conditions due to oceans. Oceans provide food for the people. Seafood like fish, crabs, lobsters, clams, mussels and squid etc. Moreover, seafood is rich source of sodium and calcium. Oceans provide a home to variety of organisms living the deep inside the waters. For example, seahorse, sea turtle, corals, sea slugs, octopus, sponges, starfish, lobsters, anglerfish, viperfish, Mariana heddle, snailfish, deep water Stingray, big red jellyfish, Japanese spider crab and fish frilled shark etc.
