why are packets of chips sealed with nitrogen and not air

Well, packing chip with Nitrogen is done to prevent oxidization, if they fill it with air the chips will oxidize and the chip will become stale.

because nitrogen make it chrispy before u open the pack n save it from many bectariya too. and under the pack is silver because it saves the chips form bectariya.
