why are passengers in a boat are not allowed to stand?

When a boat moves it will have acceleration which depends on the wave. So, sometimes the acceleration goes more and sometimes less.When there is more acceleration the passengers may lose balance and fall down.So,they are not allowed to stand

Because when passenger stand it cover low area & it produces more pressure
