Why are peninsular rivers are seasonal in nature? State 3 reasons.

1)They have originated from the plateaus not from the glaciers....so they do not contain large amount of water..
2)These rivers are dependent on rains.... but in this region it rains only in the monsoon seasons not all the time..
3)the short course of the peninsular rivers further contributes to the variations in the volume of river water
