Why are people of a country reffered as a resource ?

The Government of India issued an ordinance ('Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Ordinance, 1969') and nationalised the 14 largest commercial banks with effect from the midnight of 19 July 1969. These banks contained 85 percent of bank deposits in the country.

People are considered as resources because they have skills, mind and knowledge to do various things. They invent different things and through this there is a progress and we become technologically advanced. This helps us to utilize other resources effectively instead of wasting them. Thus without the HUMAN RESOURCES there will be no other resources.
