Most wild Pigeon's are fat because they are scavengers. They will eat whatever they can get to.. The wild one's around my house eat dog food mostly. I throw out seed for them.. But my two Pigeon's are not fat. I feed them bird seed infused with groats. Flax seed. Edtra millet. And various types of dry lentils for protein. I also change their diet according to the season. Especially breeding season. So there is the difference between wild Pigeon's and domestic Pigeon's fat intake and weight.
