Plains are highly populated compared to hilly areas because of few reasons the reasons are as follows:-
1- Hilly areas have a chance of landslide.
2-Hilly areas don't have proper facility like transport,medical etc.
3-In hilly areas chance of earthquake is also more.
4-Hilly areas are on greater height because of which the people who are suffering from problems of taking oxygen can't go there. In other words less O2 supply.
