plains are very thickly populated compared to hills because of the availability of water and there is fertile soil for agriculture ..and means of transport is available for the people

Plains very thickly populated compared to hills because-

1.They are very fertile for agriculture.

2.The water level of plains in up compared to hills,so there is no water scarcity.

3.There are good climatic conditions,suitable for human beings.

4.The construction of transport and network is easy here.

5.They are level and generally flat.
