Most of the tissues contain dead cells and need less energy.

The growth in plants is limited to a certain region.

Some tissues in plants divide throughout their life. Based on their dividing capacity, we can see 2 types of tissues: meristematic and permanent.

Plants are adapted for sedentary existence.

ANIMAL TISSUE :

The animals move from place to place in search of food, mates and shelter.

They consume more energy and most of the tissues contain living cells.

The growth in animals is more uniform. There is no difference between dividing and non-dividing tissue in animals.

Animals are adapted to actual locomotion.
