Why are plants green? no rubbish answer.

Plants posses green chloroplastic pigment called chlorophyll which absorb most of the blue and red regions of the incident light. They reflect green light so the plants look green in colour.

Plants are green in colour due to presence of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll help in preparing food by the process of photosynthesis.
