PLANTS NEED MORE STABILITY AND SUPPORY AND DO NOT SHOW MOTION UPTO THE EXTENT THAT OTHER LIVING ORGANISMS LIKE HUMANS DO. HENCE THEY NEED DEAD CELLS TO INCREASE SUPPORT

Answer:

plants do not contain dead cells, they do not have mechanism for deposing of them and they would not anyway. a tree for instance, uses dead cell to support itself while layer of new living cells are continues produced. the dead cell in tree are called heartwood.
