why are plastids not there in animal cells?

Plastics are not present in animals cells because plastics help in giving chlorophyll to the plants which is not required by the animal cells because they do not perform photosynthesis and are heterotrophic and also plastids provide colours to plant is not required by animal cells that is the reason plastids are only present in plant cells
