Ignorance a lack of awareness also contributes to the fact that poor are unable to access health care services. Mostly poor are undernourished which further aggravates the problem. Womens' health is generally ignored in poor families because of prejudiced attitude.
This is because we have seen a surge in private health care facilities than public services, which the poor cannot afford, It si beyond their reach.Most of the tribal areas do not have health care facilities.
they also believe in mythology and do not go to doctors for their treatment.
