why are radioactive pollutants very dangerous?​

 Radioactive pollutants is very dangerous because, exposure to heavy doses of radiation through nuclear plants or exposure to x-rays causes skin burns and suppresses bone marrow functioning whereas increased exposure could result in cancer.
