Reservations are important in India because India is a vast country and in India there are so many castes. Some people are of high castes and some are of low castes. People of high castes enjoys their privileges but people of low castes can't enjoys their privileges because they are depressed by the people of high castes. If we want to give equal rights to all so it is important to do some reservations for the lower castes.
