Why are resources distributed unequally over the earth?

The distribution of natural resources depends upon many physical factors like land, climate and altitude. The distribution of resources is unequal because these factors differ from place to place on this earth.

Because of the seasonal variation. Half part of india experiences moderate i.e south part and northern part experiences extremes because the presence of tropic of cancer. So the resources are distributed according to their suitability. also because of the presence of fossils fuel, type of agriculture, etc are factors for unequal distribution of resources. as in jharkhand carbon is found is large quantities in the soil so the formation and discovery of coal is common there.
