Rivers are said to be lifeline of country. In Indian culture ,we did not see rivers as just water bodies. We see them as life-giving gods or goddesses. Rivers serves as a means of transportation. It serves as a means of transportation. It is the source of irrigation for agriculture. It is considered as the natural habitat for several economical animals.  Rivers are major water ways for the people. All the rivers act as channels for religious activities. From birth to death human life is associated with river. If a country use its water resources properly it can grow and prosper significantly.

So, rivers plays a crucial role for the country's economy.
