why are road accidents at high speed very much worse than road accidents at low speed? please give answer in simple and in a way i can easily understand...​

The road accidents are damaging because of the incessant velocity. If the speed is high, it also increases the momentum of the moving object.

When it collides with an impediment, the force of action is immensely strong.

As a result, the reactionary pressure is equally strong causing lots of damages to the vehicle.

The road accidents at high speeds involve much large changes in momentum in much smaller time. Therfore, forces developed (change in momentum//time) are very huge resulting in disaste
