Why are rserved constituencies are only designed for the weaker sections of the society

it is done for the empowerment of the backward classes of the society such as dalits. it is done so that they can overcome discrimination.

Our constitution maker were aware of the fact that there exit some weaker section.So they decided to reserve some constituencies for people who belong to backward classes . Currently in Lok Sabha,84 seats are reserved for SC nd 47 for ST.
