Constitution is the basic frame work on which any country run. It not only provide us mechanism for governance it also empowers its citizen to judge the governance and protect their right.

Say for example in ancient Rome there were no constitution and if any problem arises it was to be solved by council of elderly people. Imagine such a situation in India where elders are forcing there view point & ideology on new generation.

Hence constitution of India is a must document for Indian society in general & its citizen in particular.

Need of Indian constitution can be judged on the basis of its importance, which can be summarized as-

It provide us sets of fundamental right which is needed to live a free and descent life. Case in point if FR are not there any one can be prosecuted according to the will of state, as what we see in medieval India, also during emergency we have seen peoples were put behind the bar with out any valid reason. It also provide set of principals to be fallowed while making any legislation by the legislature. It not only help law makers in framing law but also help us in judging them.It tells us about nature of governance i.e. Democratic form of governance with Secularism, Equality & Justice as prime principals. Imagine India a country with Monarch & his words as rule & law.Apart from all this it provides mechanism for functioning of executive, legislature, & judiciary.
