Stardust is the basic substance of the planet earth. As the earth is created from the Sun and the Sun is also a star.So we all are made up with the stardust.
By further scientific definition we come to know that the all elements except Hydrogen,Helium,Lithium is known as the stardust.
And scientists collect the stardust because the majority of main elements are included in the stardust category.
