Because they cannot do anything themselves and don’t know what to learn from there mistakes. So they stay dependent on the parents directly or indirectly

If kids are made to take independent decisions then they will get into wrong type of people and will also fall prey to malpractices. Furthermore they won’t know what is right and wrong so they will only end up making mistakes. Instead they need to learn everything while making mistakes which will help them in the long run to become a better person. But some things can be allowed to be taken as self work to realise one’s own potential.
