Soaps are not suitable for washing clothes with hard water because most of the soap is wasted in reacting with the sodium and magnesium ions of hard water and a large amount of soap is wasted....

They are not suitable for washing clothes in hard water they are doing or pottasium of long chain of carboxylic acid
