Why are solids and liquids incompressible while gases are compressible?

Gases have more molecular space compared to solids and liquids so they are compressable

It is because of the reason that the gases have more amount of inter molecular spaces and this makes the force of attraction less in them. Therefore the gases are more over compressible than then solids and even liquids.
