Solids are more denser as the intermolecular force of attraction between the particles are more and they are packed tightly. So the density is more for solids. Whereas in liquids and gases this force is somewhat less and they are less denser than the solids.

Answer:

because the atom and molecules of solid are much closer than liquid. And intramolecular force in solid is greater than liquid.
