Hey friend !!

Here is your answer..

==============================

Unsaturated compounds :

These are the compounds which have single and double bonds.

They can further be converted to saturated compounds.

For example : Alkene and Alkyne

Saturated Compounds :

These are the compounds which have single bond.

For example : Alkane.

Hope it helps.

saturated compounds : compounds having single bond between their carbon atoms are called saturated compounds (hydrocarbons)

alkanes are the example of saturated hydrocarbons with molecular Formula : CnH2n+2.

unsaturated compounds : the compounds having double or triple bond between their carbon atoms are called unsaturated hydrocarbons.

Saturated : they show complete combustion on appropriate presence of oxygen. It gives blue flame.

CH4 + O2 ---------------> CO2 + H2O

In presence of less amount of oxygen, saturated hydrocarbon give yellow flame.

unsaturated : they normally undergo incomplete combustion to give carbon monoxide with yellow smoky flames.

C2H4(g) + O2(g) -----------------> CO(g) + 2H2O(g) + C(s)

I hope this helps! :)
