Why are some patients of diabetes treated with insulin?

Insulin is hormone secreated from the beta cells of islets of langerhans of pancreas.

It is known as anti diabetogenic hormone because it prevents diabetes mellitus by reducing blood pressure level.

Some patients of diabetes are treated with insulin because of high sugar level in their body and persons are adviced to yake less sugar
