Why are tha profits made by farmers falling

The profits made by farmers are falling because of two mail reasons:

i] When a farmer expends rs.1000 on a crop the S.P. raised by him is a mere rs. 600 .

ii] Unplanned government schemes also contribute to this .

In the strike held previously by Communist Party of India these words were shared.
