Why are the atomic masses of most of the elements fractional?

These are fractional because these elements exists as a mixture of isotopes of different masses..... And because of this mixture... Most of the atomic masses of elements are fractional...

Atomic masses of most of the elements are fractional because most of the elements occur in nature as a constant mixture of isotopes. The atomic masses are actually the average relative masses of the isotopes depending of their abundance.
