why are the caspian sea,black Sea and aral sea which are all lakes ,called sea

Indeed, It's a large Salt water Lake and not a sea because there is no strait leading from it to the ocean.And Caspian Sea is the largest lake in the world... Both are salt lakes without any outlets. Still, They are continued to be called seas as they are too big to be called a lake.
