Why are the cells generally of a small size?

They are generally of a small size because they have to do fast work and this helps them to do because of their small size they can travel up faster through the vessels and so work can be fast.

they have a higher ratio which allow more molecules and ions to move across the cell membrane per unit of cycloplastic volume.
