Here is your answer dear friend....
When there are clouds in the sky, the light is also scattered by the water droplets inside the cloud. Unlike the gas molecules in the atmosphere, these water droplets are about the same size as the light's wavelength which means that they scatter light in a different way. Therefore the most of the clouds will appear white in colour....

the basic principle is scattering of light
there is usually complete scattering of the white sun rays thus making them appear white
as the rays are scattered by much larger water droplets Which scatter all color almost equally
when the cloud molecules grow larger in rain clouds less light reaches the bottom of the clouds giving grey or black appearance
