the conductor of an electric heating device such as bread toasters made of an alloy as alloys have a greater melting point and lesser oxidizing character than a pure metal .. so it cqn be heated to higher temperatures without getting it oxidised.... i beg u plz mark brainliest plz plz

Why are the conductors of electric heating devices, such as bread-toasters and electric irons, made of an alloy rather than a pure metal? ... Resistivity of an alloy almost does not change with temperature. So an element of alloy does not readily get oxidised at high temperature.
