Conductors of electric heating devices are made up of alloys because alloys don't oxidise (burns) readily at high temperature unlike metals. also alloys have a greater resistivity (generally ) compared to their constituent pure metal. 1. Alloy has higher resistivity than pure metal.

if they will not be made up of alloy then their resistivity will be less , as we know that heat produced in the resistor is directly proportional to the resistance of the resistor, therefore it will not able to conduct the heat
