Why are the cotton and woollen clothes rough as compared to acrylic and polyester

cotton and wollen clothes have spaces... which makes us feel rough when we touch them....they have irregular surface also....woollen clothes also release some small threads in it which makes it more rough...
whereas in acrylic and polyester clothes do not have spaces....they have regular surface too.... polyester is made using a chemical reaction involving coal, petroleum, air and water...
THEREFORE COTTON AND WOOLLEN CLOTHES ARE ROUGH THAN CLOTHES MADE UP OF POLYESTER AND ACRYLIC..
