Monsoons are typically known as the rain bringers. Because most part of Southern Asia and  the Eastern Asia get annual rainfall only by the monsoon winds.

Monsoon regions of Asia are comparatively developed as most of the intensive agriculture processes are only carried out during the monsoon period. Most of the monsoon regions of the Asia are agriculturally well developed when compared to others. Hence they are comparatively considered as developed.
