Hey mate here is your answer

Answer:

my opinion dinosaurs went extinct because of a shortage of food and the ice age. they couldn’t feed themselves and it was much too cold for survival. so they went extinct leaving small organisms to thrive which then lead to the animals and species we have now.

I hope it helps you and mark brainliest answer ✌✌✌✌

Answer:

As originally proposed in 1980 by a team of scientists led by Luis Alvarez and his son Walter, it is now generally thought that the K–Pg extinction was caused by the impact of a massive comet or asteroid 10 to 15 km (6 to 9 mi) wide, 66 million years ago.
