why are the forest affected by wars

Due to wars the forests were affected very badly. The war destroyed them . The forests were burnt due to the harsh effects of war.

becoz in war chemical & poisonous gas are released & these gases affectes the living creatures living in the forest& the poisonous waste affects the soil & lowers the life expectancy of the trees...
