Fundamental rights under democracy are the basic rights provided to a citizen of a democratic country by its constitution.
As we know that democracy is a form of government for the people by the people and to the people so it is very important and foremost duty of a democratic government to provide its citizens with some basic rights.
These basic rights conferred upon the citizens are called as the fundamental rights and cannot be taken away from them.
These rights show the power of an individual and the limits of a government.
