Glaciers are not found in our surroundings as the temperature is not suited here. There is no snow rain near our surroundings.Therefore there are no glaciers in our surroundings.

Glaciers are not found in our surroundings for the simple reason that it isn't Cold enough for the formation of Glacier to take place. Glaciers can form in Ares characterized by cool summer temperatures and heavy Winter snowfall which is not available in my surroundings.
