green plants are called as producers because they have chlorophyll that is green pigment present in them by which they carried out the process of photosynthesis from inorganic substance the producers organic substances which are reliable for eating and used by living organisms for making energy in them for carry outing metabolism activities in their body

Green plant called producer because they make their own food..by using sunlight,carbon dioxide from air and water from the soil to produce in form of sugar.
