The houses in the hilly regions are scattered so that they do not exert much pressure on the hills.


Hills have sloping surfaces and if most of the houses are clustered, that would create immense pressure on the hill slopes which can lead to calamities.


For this reason, the houses are scattered so that there is no water logging during heavy rainfall and less force is exerted on the hilly terrains.
