Insectivorous plant → Those plants which insects and other small organism is called insectivorous plant.

Ex:- Venus fly trap, pitcher plant.

They are plants but eat the insects,flies etc.

Parasitic plant →Those plants which live on other plants and obtain their water and nutrients from their hosts plant is called parasitic plant.

Ex:- Cuscutta, ambarbell etc.

They cause harm to the hosts plant.

Hosts :- The hosts are those plants or animals in which the parasitic plants or animals depend for their nutrients.
