why are the levels of all the sea equal in the world

sea levels do not change per location in the world.all the oceans in the world are interconnected,and share the same volume space. the distribution of water between landmasses keeps the sea level constant. this is why 'sea level' is in itself a measurement  standard for both landmasses and such.
