Northern plains are agriculturally productive part of india because -
1.The land which is fed my rivers with rich sediments are fertile grounds .
2.The climate is suitable .And crops can have more than 1 growing season also.
3.Moreover ,alluvial soil is so fertile that no other soil is as fertile as alluvial soil. This soil has the correct moisture content, mineral content, etc
