This leads to the displacement and death of polar bears who will not be able to survive without their homes.
• As for whales, the increase in water pollution and the increase in plastic waste affects them severely. This could be due to them ingesting plastic which can disrupt their digestive system and cause massive health risks. Moreover, there are several other animals that are killed by plastic waste each year.
• Through the means of ocean cleanups and the reduction of plastic waste, we can ensure that the lives of the ocean live will survive in the long term. With simple help from governments across the world and creating a pact to reduce industrial waste that causes ozone depletion, we can look forward to saving the ice caps in the long run.
