the process of decision making is delayed in democracy because in democracy the
system believes in giving the right decision however long it takes to be .The democracy believe that 100 criminals may resist from punishment bit even a single innocent should get punishment...

democracy is based on Idea of liberalisation and negotiation so some delay is bound to take place

take for example imagine a government that may take decision very fast but it may take decision therefore not accepted by people and May a for face problem in contrast the democratic government will take more time to follow procedure before arriving at decision but because it has followed procedure it's decision may be acceptable and more effective
