(1) It is suitable for navigation and industries, etc.
(2) It is used for generating energy.
(3) It is used for irrigation.

Rivers are considered as the lifeline of human civilization because
1. The bank of a river is very fertile which is useful in farming.
2. The earliest civilization begun near the rivers .
3. The civilization which begun near the rivers was one of the greatest civilization because rivers provided them eveything
