Why are the rivers of peninsular plateaus non perennial

because perennial rivers are drained by melting of ice of the mountains and there is no ice mountains in the peninsular plateau

Peninsular rivers are non-perennial. They don't flow throughout the year. Because they depends upon the rainfall. As they are not originated from the Himalayas they are not perennial.
